Ridden schooling

Our aim in the training of the horse using largely Classical Principles, alongside some of the more recent developments in understanding how the rider can work bio-mechanically with the horse, is an animal choosing to perform the tasks requested of it, not doing them through the fear of not doing.

We work toward this balance and cooperation in a physical sense, all the while pushing for an understanding fro

m the rider of the horses view on the world, the way they see the tasks they are being asked to perform and the environment in which this occurs.

Whether you require schooling to bring on a green horse, simply for exercise purposes or to overcome a particular problem, we approach the sessions with a gentle, compassionate and understanding attitude, whilst insisting that the horse takes its lead from the rider and understands that it is them they must trust and obey.

Session costs are from £20 per hour if I travel to you (additional mileage charge may apply dependant on area) and £20 per hour if you travel to my facilities.
